New Parking Management System.

1. After doing few observation at East Coast Mall, I came across the car park which need a new improvement regarding the parking management system.
2. PROBLEM STATEMENT:  

• Waste unnecessary energy while drivers turn around in the car park without direction looking out for an empty parking bay.
• May cause car traffic congestion in parking space. 
•  Drivers waste  a lot of time looking for empty car park.
• A large number of full-time parking staff must be needed in the car park to guide the vehicle parking manually, which will increase the parking management costs.
•  The manager can’t count the volume of traffic in different periods, which in turn can’t optimize the allocation of parking space resources, resulting in low parking utilization.

3.          SOLUTION TO THE PROBLEM:

• Use innovative sensor networks to the parking system which integrates real-time space counting with directional signage or navigation.

•  The ultrasonic parking guidance system, which can automatically guide the drivers to park the available parking space quickly, lower the management costs, eliminate the trouble of finding the parking slot, as well as gives the impression of having a perfect car park.

•  The real-time sensor networks detect the presence of vehicles in each parking space using the bay sensing system. The system will directs drivers to the vacant spaces using electronic messaging signs and the LED indicators (red/green lights) above each space.

•  The enforcement parking management systems  have been proven to cut the driver’s time-to-park in half and result in a 3-5% rise in visits.

• A complete monitoring service which keeps parking available for customers and protects the safety of people and property without incurring the high costs of labor and other security monitoring technology.
